Hold onto equity

The founders of WhatsApp didn't get traditional funding, and they seemed to self-fund by charging a small price for the more-well-off members of their audience.
Felix Dennis recommends trying to hold onto all of it. He gives the impression that being paranoid about equity is extremely important.
