How to get a job
Checklist for interviews
Prepare for the interview:
Research the company for ~15 minutes.
This is what the RateIt CEO recommended.
Try to come up with some suggestions / ideas for the company.
The RateIt CEO gave me this idea.
Do the interview:
Flatter the interviewer.
I think I got this tip from Spencer Greenberg, who read it in a study.
Try to get the interviewer to as much of the talking as possible.
I read this somewhere...
Express confidence.
...in your ability to pick up any new skills you may need to know.
The RateIt CEO complimented me on that.
...in your manner / tone ("shake hands firmly")
The $250k Airbnb guy stressed this to his students.
