Coordinate lots of small buyers to take control of a company
- The idea here is to basically create a sort of Kickstarter for small investors. Everyone would coordinate the buying of a particular stock, and then they would all agree to sell their shares into a fund that they all own a piece of. Then the leader of that fund could take control of the company and do XYZ.
- By coordinating in this way you could avoid having to disclose that you own 5% of a company, essentially allowing you to sneak up on the management.
- I have no idea if it would be legal to do this, so that's something that would require research.
