Using OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)

1. Start OBS.
2. Start the game.
3. Alt-Tab out of the game and make sure your Sources in OBS are 1) Game Capture (at the top of the list), and 2) Display Capture.

4. You may need to right-click on the Game Capture option and deselect 'Capture any fullscreen application', and instead manually choose the executable you want captured.

5. For some games (eg Combat Mission) you may need to go to File-->Settings→Video and change the "Base (Canvas) Resolution" to some value lower than that of the desktop, eg 800x600 for Combat Mission
6. Click on each game source and drag the points along the red box in the preview screen so that they fit over the game's window. Remember, do this for both sources.
7. Click 'Start Recording'.
8. Switch into your game and click on some stuff and say some things.
9. Switch out of the game, stop the recording, and make sure the audio levels are good and the video is capturing properly.
