- It seems to me that because of the way blog posts are presented and organized, blogging is best suited for discussing current events / time-dependent information, where that information is not likely to be as useful in the future. So, for example, discussing the most-recent changes to a product, or some issue in the news.
- When I say "the way blog posts are presented", I mean: with a front page, complete articles rather than articles-in-progress, and articles presented chronologically
- When I say "organized", I'm referring to the fact that blog posts are generally organized by date.
- If a blog were to change its format and way of organizing information, it seems to me it would effectively become a wiki.

Don't make one of your life commitments keeping it up to date. A dead blog is worse than no blog at all.
Instead of a blog, post articles on your website that are definite evergreen guides.
