The future of nonfiction writing

I find it absolutely obnoxious that authors feel compelled to stretch out their ideas to 300pp. My LSAT guide is widely revered even though it is probably only about 10pp.

I should write up a list of rules for writing instructions for humans in the format of a very-high-level programming language...
- I should create a syntax checker for that language...
Writing in the future will be very well-structured.
You'll be able to browse the higher-level ideas in the book in just a few pages.
You'll be able to dive more deeply into those sections of the book that you're more interested in.
You'll be able to easily skip over those parts of the book that you're already familiar with or not interested in.
