Be physically attractive

• This is definitely a factor for singers. IDK how much of a factor it is for rappers. I've definitely noticed women finding Eminem attractive, whereas IDK if they would respond the same way to Dr. Dre.

Be young

• I've noticed that you don't see 50 or 60+ year old rappers. There may be a fundamental reason for that.
  • You don't see these rappers in the media, but they may very well be out there doing their thing.
• I think the way to think about this is: think about how these rappers are becoming successful. They're having millions of young people buy their songs. So you need to be able to appeal to millions of people who are into music, most of whom are probably young.
