• How important is networking? How much time should I be spending on it?
  
  • Tentative answer: Network to find good cofounders. Beyond that, don't spend any time on it.
    • The Airbnb guys didn't seem to spend any time networking. But on the other hand, they did find each other while at school.
    • Zuck didn't seem to spend any time networking, but he did meet his cofounders through school.
  • On the other hand:
    • IIRC the Hotmail guy spent a bunch of time networking and got a good mentor who helped him.
